By crossing the finishing line to Itaja í (Brazil), on Monday, November 18th at 6:03 pm ‘ 54 » (the hour French time), they take away the Transatlantic race Jacques Vabre 2013. But more than the victory, it is the way the duet is imperative which will stay for a long time in the annals of the race in the wide. The trimaran armed by the Baron Benjamin de Rothschild curled the route in 11 days, 5 hours, 3 minutes and 54 seconds, is an average speed of 22 knots on 5 952 miles really browsed on the water; an incredible time which would not have been possible without a total commitment of both sailors. They outstrip of 5 hours their opponents, Sidney Gavignet and Damian Foxall, with whom they were engaged a merciless match since the departure of Havre. The champagne Barons of Rothschild celebrates the event with all the team, Bravo!
