Champagne Barons de Rothschild Tasting at Kaštieľ Čereňany, Slovakia

The owner of Kaštieľ Čereňany, Marian Filo, was celebrating 25 years of operation after the reconstruction. The place offers one of the best restaurants in Slovakia as well as accommodation. To understand how serious the kitchen is: they have their own farm, where they raise their own meat – as much as they can. The celebration was for friends, good customers. We noticed the Chinese and Italian ambassadors at the event.
Kaštieľ Čereňany is located between Partizanske and Prievidza in the middle of Slovakia, therefore very close to the geographic centre of Europe.
