Megève Christmas tree lighting

Every year for over 50 years, the lighting of the tree in Megève’s village square has marked the launch of the winter season. For this 14th edition, the tradition cultivates surprise, emotion and enchantment around a spectacle that has become the figurehead of all Megève events. For the first time, Champagne Barons de Rothschild was the official supplier of this major event, in collaboration with the high-end Canadian brand Mackage, well known in the village of Megève. After the inauguration of the Christmas tree, people enjoyed a few glasses of Concordia Brut in the snowy, icy weather that marked the beginning of winter.
