University Club of Toronto – Champagne Diner

The University Club is a private club that has been an integral part of Toronto’s social life since before the First World War. The origins of the club date back to 1906, when a group of young graduates of the University of Toronto, finding the gentlemen’s clubs of the time too austere for their tastes, decided to create their own club. This club is an emblematic venue for the art of living, it recently hosted an exceptional dinner in honour of Barons de Rothschild champagnes. It was a memorable event, especially as it was the first dinner devoted entirely to champagne for over 15 years. It was a unique experience that we’re sure will be repeated to celebrate our finest vintages!
